Elizabeth Luse

Elizabeth is pleased to return for her fourth year as a ballet instructor for Illinois Dance Academy. She realized a love for dance in her hometown of Orlando, Florida under the instruction of Russell and Phyllis Sultzbach and continued her training at Indiana University. Elizabeth earned a B.S. in Ballet Performance with an Outside Field in Applied Health Science and was able to work closely with many great instructors including Violette Verdy, Guoping Wang, Leslie Peck, and Jacques Cesbron. During her senior year in the music school, Elizabeth taught for the elective ballet program and realized another love -passing on knowledge of the artform. Upon graduating, Elizabeth moved to Chicago to dance and teach in the area. She has worked with Chicago Ballet, Madison Ballet, Ballet Quad Cities, and currently dances with NoMi LaMad, Inc. and Winifred Haun and Dancers. Elizabeth proudly continues to teach in her hometown at The School of Performing Arts, at Joffrey Ballet Acadmey, and of course, Illinois Dance Academy! A big thank you to Russell and Phyllis, the teachers who started it all.
